ART 100

July 19, 2014

Three artworks I choose from Lorton Workhouse Gallery.   These artists, I select Laura Bruce, Rebecca Chase and Hsi Mei. All of them have use oil for their own techniques and elements for good quality of colours, values, lines and shape.

Laura Bruce’s artwork used Laura Bruce oil in the medium. This artwork style depicted the element light yellow in pure colour for the background. The foreground covers gray cat’s detail furs everywhere outside body including the face that shows value’s shade dark and light.  The eyes demonstrated the lids’ lines edges in pure green and in brighter green and the pupils with black line stroke.  The whisker’s white line is where to attach the end of horizontal line dots on gray cat’s upper lip. The shapes of nose point lower to depict point which looks like upside down tear. The nose painted in mixed dark blue. This illustrated gray cat face sideways to make other people clear detail on its face.

Laura Bruce oil  No.1

Rebecca chase oil No.2

The picture I took from the artist. This art describes everything for oil medium. The elements used the many colors to glaze the rainbow mix for the background’s sky color in brightness.  The color mixed mostly yellow along the light green, red and light blue.  Chase glazes the color to make more clear and colorful. The owl at the center is very important elements for his feather in textures use different pattern lines and edges of black and white. The yellow eye of owl creepy Chase highlights his eye contact. The foreground’s bottom corner is where the girl is staring at owl to show interest each other in great contact. The girl Chase paints dark shade in value because the girl in the foreground is coming very close. The mountains’ element show value that used green’s foreground darkness to background’s light.  The full moon is including show dot in textures and light blue.

Gloria Benedetto oil. No 3

This is on my tutor Gloria Benedetto’s painting who depicted on Downtown Abbey British television. These are the old British couples in senior age enjoyed a sunny day at the beach. The elements Benedetto used the highlights colour and values on both human figures ‘clothes. Entire background depicted too bright to make unclear because it depicted the faraway we cannot see the details. The proportion of old couples Benedetto paint very good balance.  Benedetto depicted the outside sunny she used closer figures to get more detail and clarity to make other people see very well.

Conclusion: The evaluation for these paintings is creative and imaginative in well good proportion and foreground object are fascinated except one thing used more lines edges and textures in Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The beach is a little bit problems because the background is hazy bright yellow include sky and water. Chase show if the whole part of the moon is full or crescent which it can be hard to tell.

Greatest Legendary Tale of "The Originals" Show Ever

The great spin-off show amused many fans compared original show Angel how had generated since Angel spinoff. The problem issues show had been cancelled unfairly that fans need more Klaus Mikaelson without killed off (that's enough). In a show, the Mikaelson siblings were settled in Mystic fall together, being one of the main reasons fans watched it every week. The show is more like The Godfather Trilogy and Lannisters in previous Vampire Diaries, yet their own spin-off survivors or refugees like Narnia's Pevensies, Starks(Games of the throne), great family including siblings dynamics and JLA(Justice League of America).

Great actors (Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Riley Voelkel's powerful acting. Nathaniel Buzolic, Sebastian Roche and Phoebe Tonkin) are great. Summer Fontana as Hope Mikaelson is very sweet.

Every character were both scene-stealers every time they were on screen, making me root for every single one of their plots. The suggestion we need more Different stroke, for example, represents African American in New Orleans to the related family connection. By the fact, fans and I angered Julie Plec's fault destroy main characters (Elijah and Klaus) unfairly at the Season 5 finale episode. Every time TVD characters killed off by Plec; that way it portrays the tragic heroes. The show familiarly similar to another spin-off supernatural Angel BTVS which entirely similar character story flashback and resemblances; yet the effect of characters and plot every scene and episodes had generated very well strong balance in characters' background. There is another oldest Mikalsen who never involves with New Orleans; Finn who had appeared antagonist in Vampire Diaries, passed away, yet one youngest brother Henrik way back 10th century had died very very young which are not very important. Elijah, Klaus, Kol, Rebekah, Freya later revealed, Haley, Marcel and Hope are regular characters in the show. Mikalsens at the time are the Scandinavian tribe family in comparison to Highlander.

Klaus Mikalsen originally was an antagonist of Vampire Diaries' Mystic Fall Gangs is the main character who portrays the wicked strong hybrid due to his tragic childhood; psychopath nature misunderstanding childlike who search haunt Marcel's one of his proteges whom he became a surrogate father and raised Hope his child whom he loves her dearly.  In his family, Klaus has six siblings- Freya, Finn, Elijah Kol, Rebekah and Henrik(posthumous) exile from homeland Norway, after all, them turn in vampires by ritual. Elijah, Klaus's favorite Spock-like brother is the counterpart of Angel's Wes Pryce (watcher a little bit) and bad blonde boy Spike later join Angel Season 5 because they are very noble demons yet Elijah is stoic and James Bond resemblance Pierce Brosnan who protect his family and love his brother Klaus dearly due to his evilness. He loves reading mentor young Marcel play the piano in the 19th century whom he reminds him of another dead brother Henrik. During childhood close to little brother Klaus taught him how to aim an arrow at deer as a good hunter stopped by abusive father Mikael punishing Klaus's poor performance and talents and read poet and a good brother to his younger siblings. Also, Elijah feared Klaus's jealousy of Elijah and Marcel's special made Klaus felt left out. It is not entirely his fault; he had no choices for him; later reconciled Marcel in a particularly friendly way in the adult age in 1900s and abandoned Marcel again after a fire in theatre by Mikael haunted his children. In contrary to hobbies, Klaus love arts while Elijah love music. The conflict in mid-season 1, Klaus has shown jealous of his sibling's parent favouritism and grew cautious of Rebekah's previous boyfriends. Marcel is also great bad boy heir to the prince and once a lovable rogue who grown up a lot in New Orlean like Conor( Angel) that both involve more revenge on the family in a different way. They had the bitter and strained relationship with families. Marcel had raised up as a once ten-year-old slave boy in 19th century later adopted Mikaelson; Klaus rescued him from beaten in reflect of his' own abusive father. Klaus had raised him like son. He is very close to Rebekah whom he had a crush on and had been a mentor by Elijah and take advantage by troublemaker Kol want him to be a vampire during night Hamlet as he was with him. Comparison to character, he is kind of spoiled and strong vampire leader and the key of Strix witch organization and raised by Mikaelsen like family and exiled due to Kol's endgame and axe-craziness who feel jealous of Marcel due Mikalsen treat Marcel family more than him after they had been daggered him for centuries. The scene part shows Marcel left alone like Kevin McCallister who had gone missing and hadn't seen his foster family while Elijah and Marcel worked in the present day of partnership's witch business. Rebekah is such a badass pretty Barbie-like vampire action tomboy inspire Dawn teenager, evil blonde hair Darla and usual rich mean girl Cordelia in Mystic Fall; but she is truly such kind sweet; sometimes kind of dumb blonde and love help other people as well like Elijah. Kol Mikaelsen is a great stronger Original character who dark hair resemblance to Andrew and Mel Gibson and Elijah Wood and desperately didn't leave out the circle from his siblings.  He is very wild, corruptor and sly and take advantage of young human people and teenagers and pre-teen like Marcel who is Kol's least vampire due to his jealousy's family treatment; yet taught him to be the real vampire while giving him blood. One main character Hayley ( werewolf) resemble Darla and Cordelia( dark hair) but she is such great mom to Hope, a good wife and a true friend to all Mikaelsen.  Mikael Mikaelson is one great bad father act well by Roche resemble Liam Neeson who is a hunter terrorize his kids. Mikael is another counterpart of Daniel holts vampire hunter murder the Angelus and Darla. Way back in Norway, father and children show tension and violent way back than the Angel spin-off. Freya is a long-lost sister who is a truly great aunt to Hope and great big sister to Rebekah and her brothers. Freya resemblance Buffy evil femme vampire Drusilla's cuckoo and counterpart of Fred( Winifred Burkle) yet portray more levelheaded and braver.  Hope Mikalsen, Haley and Klaus's witch and beast daughter in sweet brave personality and forgiven her family later finale showing connection and raised taking of by her uncles and aunts since the infant. Though teenage after finding out Elijah murder accidentally Haley who learns s his uncle quite loyal and great bother to her mom eventually forgive him. She is very close to her parents and aunts and uncle and adoptive brother Marcel and family member since teenage; all family remember her. Hope is the female counterpart of Connor (Vincent Kartheiser; Angelus' half vampire and a half-demon who more emotional and whinier; unforgiven friend no one remembers bad luck than Hope. In season 2-4, Hope was an infant in New Orleans who empower by witches surround her and inherited werewolf later a teenager who later left New Orlean in Salvatore Boarding School since age seven.

Davina and Camille are also involved in the show; Davine is the counterpart of Lorne who had witch superpower of demons raised by Marcel like his daughter and loved Kol's incarnation in Marcel's disapproving later finally accept in season 5. Camille is typical bland Pollyanna resemble True Blood's Sookie Stack house who involve a love triangle between Klaus, Marcel and Rebekah; yet she died in vampire in no cures loss of Vincent( new male Caribbean witch in town who help Miklasen witches and a close friend of Freya.  Another part of Freya in past telling his siblings in her pastime stories why she was abandoned  by the Witch Mother Esther's evil sister Dahlia and reveal them as biological sister later prove Klaus and Elijah and Rebekah to more accepted and became part official of Mikkelsen family; therefore she grew closer to her siblings supporting to save them from Big Bad vampires(Aurora, Tristan and Lucien.) originated in France; yet they threaten and haunt Mikaelsen over 900 years ago. In fact, Aurora, the lunatic princess was Klaus' old lover beside Elena's doppelganger ancestry in Vampire Diaries. The main villain in season 3 was Tristan; a bad boy loathes Klaus and archenemy and sire by of Elijah. Season 3 is one best episode scene that Angel Spin-Off did not embody Angel's sire(Penn) very well died shortly. Great complex story ever, for example, Mikalsen invites their old enemies over thanksgiving confrontation also Rebekah's protections in endangering (baby sister).

Season 5 finales portray Elijah and Klaus had died sacrificed for families they look after especially Hope's custody. They died for the specific reason for Haley whom they both loved and had done many crimes mostly Klaus murdered many people in Mystic Falls. Alaric( frenemy) and Caroline Forbes whom he falls in love and become a good friend along old friend Stefan Salvatore; The Vampire Diaries' vampire bad-boyDamon's younger brother had appeared.  The season 5 develope personalities of Alaric grew cold and but nice sometimes distrust Klaus because he had hurt his family and neighbours. Caroline in the other hand remains the same person who understands Klaus more than anyone in Mystic Fall The theme show great crime Klaus suffered to pay for Alaric in tragic Shakespeare. The previous in Mystic Fall; Klaus was a gangster and mafia raised in wealthy rich evil bad blood families like Godfather Corleone and Lannister. They settled back their home in New Orleans because they had found Marcel called by Elijah. Since Miklasen's departure on ravage in theatre in 1914, Marcel solve by himself evolved original big bad, prince of New Orlean and rebel and troublemaker in very earlier Season 1 Originals and Vampire Diaries' Season 4 mid-episode who take over in the cause of Davina's death later stay normal ally reconciled much nicer in season 5 save Haley and Hope.

The show's scenes portray more star-crossed lovers, nursery rhythm,  Antagonist Mikaelsen' s more complex flashback with own rivalries( Lucien and de Martels) various traditional myths, Shakespeare tragic, immortals, Harry Potter witches styles, early 20 century styles and High fantasy novel archetype and fairytales traditions and Legendary heroes. Star-cross lover, for example, Rebekah and Marcel had love incest relationship in oddness originally aunt-nephew, Kol and Davina; African-American vampire Keelin and Freya in Bisexual. The characters are well developed analyzed great humanity with more complex stories flash back tragic from their wisdom.

Overall, Elijah and Klaus are truly final beloved legend Originals characters since Salvatore brothers passed away after 40 years fairly while they paid since they had done in past and had exiled their own people and leave to daggers, sacrifice loss of their siblings; Henrik, Kol, Rebekah, Freya, Haley, Marcel and Hope. All the people they had the connection they had grew up choose sacrifice and care about them since they had grown up in Orlean.

Th some issue Monet did not make it background in dark cour blue blurry yet lack clear.  Remember Monet always remember created the blurry impress the background scene what outside like affect other people's feeling and vision. Water Lilies and the Japanese bridge(second above)  is better to view bright in background and foreground garden.
